焼き鳥:Yakitori (Grilled chicken)
地元の食材を活かした料理が特徴。特に「森林どり」の焼き鳥が人気で、新庄村産「ひめのもち」を使ったメニューも豊富。ひめのもちを使ったうどんやクレープは、もちもちした食感が特徴です。店内はコンパクトで、地域の特産品が味わえるアットホームな雰囲気が楽しめる居酒屋。
This izakaya, or Japanese-style pub features dishes that make use of local ingredients. The yakitori (grilled chicken) using a Japanese brand chicken called `Shinrin-dori`, or `the forest chicken` is particularly popular. Also, there is an abundance of varieties of dishes using `Hime no mochi`, or `Himeno rice that is produced for rice cake` from Shinjo Village. Udon noodles and crepes have a specially sticky and chewy texture because they are made from Hime no Mochi powder. The size of the izakaya is not big so it offers an intimate atmosphere where you can enjoy the specialities of the Okayama region.
